The cleaning agency came about in the first place to meet the owner’s own personal needs. As Adrian Gsell and his long-term partner Lilian Kellenberger had always been very involved in their work, they needed assistance in their home. From the outset, the only option available to them was to legally employ a cleaning lady. As there were no cleaning companies around at this time that were geared towards the individual needs of private individuals, Mr. Gsell had to deal with the administrative and official side of things himself.

He thus started with primary and secondary market research. His research rapidly brought to light the fact that there was a gap in the market in this sector, as there was a major need for this sort of service. In 2002 Adrian Gsell developed a detailed concept to deal with these circumstances.

In 2003, the one-man company "Putzfrauenagentur Adrian Gsell" was set up, specialising in the private household segment of the cleaning sector. Thanks to the excellent growth of the business, it was possible in January 2004 to convert this one-man business into a limited liability company (GmbH) and in the same year the concept also received a marketing award.

In early 2005, the first offices were opened in the canton of Zurich and the number of agencies has continued to grow since then. The cleaning agency now has 15 offices and provides its services throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Lilian Kellenberger has also been working with the agency since mid-2006 and is responsible for operational management. 

The cleaning agency now even has its own academy since March 2009, in which staff are trained and sensitized for the needs of our customers.

On 11 May 2009 the limited liability company was converted into a public limited company backdated to the start of the year.
