The cleaning agency is a profit-centre organisation with legally independent agencies.

The founder of the company and principal shareholder is Adrian Gsell, who was born in the canton of Zurich on 12 August 1968. He has responsibility for marketing in addition to strategic management.

Co-owner Lilian Kellenberger was born on 20 June 1962 in the canton of Zurich. She has responsibility for operational management.

The cleaning agency was founded in 2003 as a one-man business and was converted into a limited company on 1 January 2004. Since 2009 it has been a public limited company with a fully paid up capital of CHF 100,000.00.

The Putzfrauenagentur AG is subject to a VAT rate (VAT no. 586 585)

All cleaning agencies are affiliated to the Collective Labour Agreement governing the cleaning sector in German-speaking Switzerland, which is monitored by the Joint Commission.
